Day 1  Khugnu Khan

Your local guide and driver(s) you when you arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Have breakfast and ahead to Khugnu Khan Mountains. On the way enjoy the beautiful nature and birds stopping for pictures. You pass not very tall mountains with meadows between and peacefully grazing herds of sheep, goat and horses. Arrive in the area of Khugnu Khan that stands on the territory of Bulgan province of Mongolia. Welcome to your own Ger, the traditional Mongolian dwelling, a round felt tent. Have lunch and after some rest you walk to nearby mountain top to have your first view of the border area of high mountains, steppe and the afar from where the middle Gobi starts. Have delicious dinner and enjoy your first night in a unique kind of accommodation, Ger inhaling the truly wild nature's fresh air. /280km/ (B, L,D)

Day 2   Khugnu Khan

Today after your breakfast you start trekking in the mountains visiting Erdenezuu monastery ruin and temple farther Uvgun Khiid. Actually the two are upper and lower parts of a monastery that was built in 1612. The monasteries were destroyed in the middle ages in the fight between Western and Eastern Mongols. But today you can see visit some renovated temples, like Five Khaan's temple that was built on rocks higher than the others with religious items and tanghas of some deities. And you are invited to visit nomad families and experience in riding horses or camels except trekking over the Sandy hills of Mongol Els. Khugnu Khan mountain is annually worshipped and was taken under the protection of Mongolian government as a natural reserve./20km/ (B, L,D)

Day 3  Kharkhorin and Erdenezuu

Today after breakfast you drive to Kharkhorin village next to the site of old Khar Khorum, the ancient capital which was one of the world trade centers and visit Erdenezuu, the oldest and historical monastery of Mongolia with 108 stupas around on walls built in rectangular of 400 x 400 meter distances. And the three main temples kept and renovated and serving as a museum but at the same time there are working temples restored and monks read sutras in there where over 100000 ancient Buddhist books are kept till today. Visit working temples and KharKHorin, the 3D modern museum of findings of KharKhorum. You will be in the spirit of the old times and be at Ovoos where Chinggis khan and his sons left their foot prints! /120km/( L,D,B)

Day 4  Tsenkher Hot Spa

After breakfast you drive to Tsenkher Hot Spa in Arkhangai province, which is famous for its dairy products and strong wrestlers of course with its natural beauty in Mongolia. Tsenkher Hot Spa is in 120kms from Kharkhorin village, but on the way you pass a beautiful small lake "Huiten" with a scenic view all around. Then you cross a river and be at a camp in a thick forestry mountains. Have lunch afterwards walk to the beginning of the 86 degree healing hot spa, Tsenkher in the deep forest with singing of forest birds. Also you visit the nearby nomad family during the milking time of yaks and try thick yak milk yogurt and other dairy products to be introduced with living of the local Mongols. Stay at a Ger camp enjoy swimming in the small pool with pumped water from the hot spa. /120 km/( L,D,B)

Day 5  Ughii Lake

Today you visit a lake in the same province but with a different surrounding nature than you seen before. Ughii lake is one of the stopover spots of Mongolia has 27 km square area. Average depth is 6.64m, in some sections 15.3m, coastal length is 23.5m that you are able to trek around for a half day. Delicate sand and whetstone coast, the soft waves and it is very convenient to have boat sailing. Also it is enthusiastic to swimming, having sunbath and stroll along the shore of the lake. You will be offered to taste the lake fish which is delicious and valuable. /130km/( L,D,B)

Day 6  Khustai NP

After breakfast drive to Khustai NP, a mountain chain rich in wild animals and plants including some endemic ones. Khustai NP was registered as a member of the world biosphere network of natural reserves as being a home to 459 species of vascular plants, 85 species of lichens, 90 species of moss and 33 species of mushrooms. 44 species of mammals have been recorded, including Red deer, Mongolian gazelle, Roe deer, Wild boar, Wild sheep, Ibex, Mongolian marmots, Grey wolves, Lynx and many others. But there you can come across marmots and hare easily except observing the reintroduced wild horses to Mongolia, the Prejwalski horses. You can observe them in the evening when they come down from birch forest to water to the skirts of the mountains and gracefully floating deer can be seen more often for sure in autumn you can hear the wolf howling. You arrive to the camp by lunch time then have some trek around or drive to Ungut, where the ancient man stone complex in 35 km from the camp. After dinner you drive to the mountains to have a close look of the Prejwalski horses. /ADD:220 km /(L,D,B)

Day 7  Ulaanbaatar

After having breakfast start driving to Ulaanbaatar back. You will be in Ulaanbaatar in 1.5 hours by asphalt road. Have a short city tour including Gandan and Zaisan Hill then transfer to you hotel. Free afternoon on your own. /120km/ (B)
